How to Make Maitake Mushroom Soup?

Step-2

If the onions are brown, add garlic and sliced maitake mushrooms. Keep stirring and fry for 5 minutes at low heat.

Step-3

Add the coriander leaves and saute for 2 minutes.

Step-4

This time, transfer the sauteed mushrooms to a blender and blend them properly. You can toss the mushroom if you don’t like to go for blending. In that case, you must ensure the mushrooms are tossed and mashed well. Keep the bowl aside.

Add chili flakes, oregano, salt, and pepper powder, and let them mix well. Keep boiling at low heat for 5 minutes. But continue stirring in that 5  minutes.

Step-9

Add 1 more cup of milk and mix well. Let them cook for 5 minutes. Check out the salt. If the liquid requires more salt to taste, add more according to your necessity.

Step-10

After 5 minutes of stirring, add heavy cream to the soup and mix. Let it bubble for 5 minutes. Your maitake mushrooms soup is ready. Top it with your favorite toppings and serve.
