Peanut Butter (2 Cups)

Step-1

Put a saucepan on the stove over medium-low heat. Put sugar, kero syrup, and peanut butter. Keep stirring them for 10 minutes. Once the mixture is melted and becomes smooth properly, keep the saucepan aside for later use.

This time, take a mixing bowl and take rice cereal and the prepared peanut butter mixture. Mix them properly.

Take your baking pan and put the mixed rice cereal. Put the rice nicely and evenly. Cover with paper and press tight so that the rice cereal sits fixed.

Step-4

Once you finished placing the rice cereal, put a saucepan with 3 cups of water. Bring the water to a boil for 5 minutes.

Now put another pan on top of the boiled water saucepan as same as you see in the picture below-

Put the chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips. It will start melting. Keep stirring for 5 minutes. Once these two chips are melted and become a smooth liquid, turn off the heat.

Step-5

Now take the chips liquid and spread it over the rice cereal. This liquid will work as a chocolate layer. Spread the liquid evenly. You need not go for any baking. This recipe requires no baking method.

Step-6

Put the baking sheet in your fridge and let it chill for 30 minutes. It’s almost ready! Now take it out from the refrigerator and cut it into a square shape into many small pieces and serve. Your scotcharoo will look as same as the picture-
