Know About the Hamburger Hamlet French Onion Soup Ingredients

Here is the list of ingredients. We have talked about all the ingredients in detail. Make sure to read them before you start to cook.

Beef chuck roast: We are using 1 pound of beef chuck roast in this recipe. You can use any meat, but the chuck roast has less fat than other cuts. Also, make sure it’s tender enough to shred easily.

Olive oil: This version of French onion soup uses extra virgin olive oil instead of butter because it adds a nice flavor and texture to the soup. We are using 2 tbsp of olive oil.

Onions: Onions are one of those ingredients that can be used in many different ways. They are often added to soups or stews but also make great toppings for burgers, sandwiches, pizza, etc. This recipe requires 6 large onions.

Garlic: Garlic has been used for centuries as a spice. It is also used as medicine. In this recipe, we are using 4 cloves of garlic.

Beef stock: Beef Stock can be made by simmering bones or meat scraps with water, vegetables, herbs, spices, and salt. It’s then strained through cheesecloth, cooled, and frozen. We are using 6 cups of beef stock.

Mushrooms: we are using mushrooms Because mushrooms have a lot of flavors and add a nice texture to the dish. You can use any mushroom you like. Just make sure they are fresh! We use 8 ounces of white button mushrooms, which have a milder taste than other varieties.

Bay leaves: we are using 2 bay leaves to add an earthy flavor to the dish. Bay leaves can be found in most grocery stores. If you don’t have any on hand, feel free to use dried oregano instead.

Dried thyme: Thyme is used as a culinary herb. It is one of the best herbs for cooking because it adds flavor without overpowering other ingredients. We are using 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme.

Flour: We use 1 tbsp of all-purpose flours in this soup recipe because they have a neutral flavor and absorb other flavors well. You want to use flour that will complement the spices you add to the dish. For example, if you make a curry-style soup, try using brown rice flour instead of white flour. If you make a tomato-based soup, try using whole wheat flour instead of white flour to give the soup body.

Salt & Pepper: Use salt & pepper to taste.
