Pike peak roast: pike peak roast also known as beef heel roast or round heel roast. You can also use smoked pike or bob pike to get a bob taste. Get 1 large cut Pike’s Peak Roast.

Beer: Beer is used to marinate the meat. You can use any beer according to your taste and get 2 cans of it. 

Onion: Onion has a great nutritional value, and here onion is used as a vegetable option. Finely chop 1 large onion and measure ¼ cup for this recipe. 

Basil: Basil is used to ass flavor to our meat. Measure ½ tbsp of fresh basil. Using a sharp knife mince finely to get the taste. 

Dill: Dill is used to marinate the meat which also adds flavor to our dish. Take fresh dill, chop and then measure ½ tbsp of it

Carrot: Carrot is a great source of vitamin A. Take 5 pieces of medium carrots, dice them up and set aside. 

Potato: We all know that potato is a source of carbs and has a great taste that nicely fits with beef. Here we will need gold potatoes and finely cut them into dice. 

How to Cook Pikes Peak Roast

Here I am going to share with you a Pikes Peak roast recipe that is super easy. This recipe is one of my favorites. It is a great way to beef with a nice balance of sweet and salty. If you’re looking for a unique and best easy way to prepare a Pikes Peak roast, here is the steps for you.

Marinade the Meat

Step 1: Take a large size bowl

Step 2: Now rinse the pike peak roast and let the roast dry out

Step 3: Now place it in the liege bowl

Step 4: Brush the olive oil on all over the roast

Step 5: then pour the beer over the roust. 

Step 6: Let it Marinade well at least for 1-hour 

Baking

Step 1: Now preheat your oven at 330˚ F.

Step 2: Make 5 slits in the meat and insert your taken peppercorn into each slit. 

Step 3: Rub on the dill and basil finely all over your meat.

Step 4: Now take a roasting pan 

Step 5: Place the potatoes, carrots and onion in the bottom the roasting pan

Step 6: Place the marinated meat on top of the vegetable

Step 7: then pour over all the left marinade juices in the top.

Step 8: Cover the pan properly

Step 9: Now let the meat roast till it shows desired temperature  

Step 10: Finally remove the meat from the oven and let the roasted meat rest for almost about 15 minutes.

  • 1 Large Cut Pike’s Peak Roast
  • ½ Cup oil
  • 2 cans Beers
  • 5 Pcs Peppercorns
  • ½ tbsp finely chopped dill
  • ½ tbsp finely chopped fresh basil
  • 5 Pcs Carrots
  • dice cut
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 4 Pcs Gold Potatoes

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, place the roast and brush the olive oil on all over the roast
  • Pouring the beer, let it marinade well at least  for 1 hour
  • Preheat your oven at 330˚ F.
  • Now rub on the dill and basil finely all over your meat and place the potatoes, carrots and onion in the bottom the roasting pan
  • Place the marinated meat on to of p of the vegetables
  • Let the meat roast till it shows desired temperature
  • Now remove the meat from the oven and let the roasted meat rest almost about 15 minutes.
