Uncooked Rice ( 2 Cups)

Since it’s a rice-type recipe, you must require grains. So, take 2 cups of uncooked rice and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes. The water level should be 1 inch high than the rice level in the bowl. 

It means your rice should be dipped in the water fully.  Rinse the rice properly and keep the bowl aside for later use. 

Vegetable Oil (¼ Cup)

To cook this chicken-flavored recipe, you’ll need ¼ cup of vegetable oil.

Onion (1 Cup)

Adding 1 cup of chopped onion will help to spread a strong flavor. Take 2 large onions and chop them. Take 1 cup of this chopped onion. 

Garlic Paste (2 Tbsp)

Onion and garlic are essential ingredients that you cannot skip while cooking chicken-flavored recipes of any kind. Take 2 tbsp of garlic paste to make a good combination with onion. 

Bay Leaf (1)

Lemon juice ( 1 Tbsp)

Green Chili (3)

Chicken Stock (3 Cubes)

Coriander leaves ( ½ Cup)

Grind Tomato (2)

How to Make Chicken-Flavored Rice?

Make your chicken-flavored rice dish in the simplest way-

Step-1

Put a dip bottom saucepan on the stove and put oil in it. Let the oil warm for 1 minute. Add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves to the oil. Keep them sauteeing for 2 minutes.

Step-2

Now add onion and green chili into the spice mixture and stir for 5 minutes. This time add garlic paste and stir for 5 minutes more. 

Step-3

Once the onion and garlic seem light brown and soft, add the lemon juice. Stir for 2 minutes and let the juice mix with onion and garlic properly.

Step-4 

Now, you have to add the chicken stock and stir them well to mix well. Continue stirring for 2 minutes, and the mixture will become light yellow. 

Step-5

It’s now time to add tomato paste and coriander. Add the tomato paste and chopped coriander.  Mix well with other spices. Now add chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Now mix them all nicely. Keep the lid on the pan and cook for 5 minutes at medium-low heat.  

Step-6

Now add 4 cups of cold water and salt to the mixture. Mix them well and let cook for another 5 minutes. Don’t forget to cover the saucepan with its lid. 

Step-7

Now, take your uncooked soaked rice and add them to the spice mixture. Mix and spread the rice properly.  And cook them for 5 minutes with the lid on the saucepan. Keep the heat high for this 5-minute cooking. 

Step-8

Now turn the heat low and cook for 8 minutes with the lid on. Your chicken-flavored rice recipe is done. Now you can serve the rice with fried chicken and any other favorite side dish.

  • Add rice and cook for 5 minutes with the lid on the saucepan at heat high-heat.
  • Now turn the heat low and cook for 8 minutes with the lid on.

Tips
