Chicken Wing Soup Ingredients

All the ingredients, spices, and vegetables you need to make this soup recipe are common. So, collecting them won’t cause any stress or pressure for you. 

Chicken Wings (6 Pieces)

Take the chicken wings of 6 pieces and wash them. Ensure you clean them properly. Cut them into two pieces. Don’t cut it into 3 or more pieces, or it won’t seem like chicken wings. Now keep the chicken wings in a bowl and set aside. 

Water (5 Cups)

You’ll need 5 cups of water to boil the ingredients. 


There’s no specification for using vegetables. Use any of your favorite vegetables. However, the enlisted vegetables in our list match chicken wings soup the most-

  • Grated Carrot-1 
  • Grated Celery1
  • Grated Parsnip – ½ Cup
  • Diced Zucchini – 1 
  • Diced Bell Pepper- 1
  • Diced Potato-2
  • Chopped Lovage- Leaves- ½ Cup 

Onion (1)

Take 1 large onion and chop it. If you like the onion flavor, take 2 onions for your soup recipe. 

Crushed Tomato (1 Can)

You’ll need 1 can of crushed tomato. Buy a tomato can from your local store. Using the store-bought can will faster your cooking process. If you don’t want to add the store-bought tomato, use the fresh tomatoes. Take and wash them and then blend the tomatoes. In this case, you will need 200g of fresh tomatoes.

Salt (1 Tsp)

Try using kosher salt because it has a nice flavor. The regular salt will be alright too. For the regular salt, the measurement will be 1 tsp, and for the kosher salt, the measurement will be ⅓ tsp. 

Black Pepper Powder (½ Tsp)

To get a nice smell or flavor to your chicken wings soup, add ½ tsp of pepper powder. It’s optional, and you can skip it if you don’t have it. 

Egg (1)

Take a large egg for your soup recipe.

Chopped Lovage Leaves (½ Cup)

To top your soup, you also need ½ cup of lovage leaves. Lovage is medicinal leaves. And again, it’s an influential flavor agent. It can be used as an irritation therapy. 

However, in today’s recipe, we won’t use it for therapy purposes of any kind, We’ll add it to spread its nice flavor. 

How to Make Chicken Wing Soup?

You can make your chicken wings soup in two different ways. One, you can put whole chicken wings into your soup. And second one is to remove the flesh from the bone and use only the chicken wings flesh in your soup. Both will come with the same taste. 

You can choose the second method, especially when making soup for your kids. We’ll make our soup using the whole wings today. Let’s check out how-


Add the chicken wings into a saucepan and boil in the water for 10 minutes. Keep the heat medium of your stove. Let them boil nicely.

NB: If you cook the soup with chicken wings flesh only, then remove the wings from your saucepan after 10 minutes and separate the flesh and return to the saucepan again. If not, go as we instruct below. 


This time, add the grated, diced and chopped veggies with the chicken wings. Let them boil for 20 minutes altogether. 


When the vegetables seem soft, add canned tomatoes and stir to mix well. Now let the mixture boil for another 10 minutes at medium-low heat. 


Add salt and pepper for taste and flavor. Give a slow stir and mix them all. Your chicken wings soup is almost ready, all you need is to give a final touch. 


This time, take a small bowl and beat the egg. Add this beaten egg to the saucepan of soup and stir to mix. This time add the chopped lovage leaves and heat off the saucepan. Remove the saucepan from the stove. 


Your chicken wings soup is perfectly ready. Take a small serving bowl and take 2 cups of soup along with 2 pieces of chicken wings. Top with more fresh chopped lovage and parsley. And now serve.

  • For a creamy and thick texture, add 1 cup of yogurt to your soup.
  • Roast the veggies in a separate pan with olive oil, salt, and pepper for 10 minutes at medium-low heat. It will bring an extraordinary flavor to your soup.
