Instructions
Put all the ingredients in the marinade section in a large saucepan
Bring the ingredients to bubble in low heat. Stir occasionally
Keep it in simmer for 5 more minutes
Remove the saucepan and let it cool down completely
Take the sharpest knife and slice the steak in 2-3 inches apiece
Put the pieces inside a Ziplock bag and pour the marinade. Swill nicely
Now let it be marinated for 8 to 24 hours
When the steak is ready for cooking, put a sauté pan on medium-low heat
Melt the butter and add olive oil. After a while, add onions, sugar, salt, and pepper
Cook it for 30-40 minutes and stir them
Drain the excess marinade from the steak pieces
Put some butter on a ribbed grill pan
Put the marinated steak pieces in the pan
Cook each side for 2-3 minutes or for your preference of doneness
Incorporate the caramelized onion with the sirloin tips and serve them with your favorite sides
