Rice Cereal

Granulated Sugar

Peanut Butter

Butterscotch Chips

Kero Syrup
Instructions
Mix sugar, kero syrup, and peanut butter in a saucepan at medium-low heat. Keep stirring them for 10 minutes and let them melt.
Mix the rice cereal and the prepared peanut butter mixture.
Take your baking pan and put the mixed rice cereal.
Cover with paper and press tight so that the rice cereal sits fixed.
Put a saucepan with 3 cups of water on the stove. Bring the water to a boil for 5 minutes.
Now put another pan on top of the boiled water.
Put the chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips and stir for 5 minutes.
Now take the chips liquid and spread it over the rice cereal.
Put the baking sheet in your fridge and let it chill for 30 minutes.
Cut it into a square shape and serve.
Tips
If you don’t want to refrigerate the scotcharoo, keep them a room temperature.
Store them in a sealed jar or container.
Sctcharoo can be stored for 5 days maximum.
Don’t mix the rice cereal in any hot pan or bowl. Or your cake will taste stale.
