Pig Licking Cake Recipe || The South American Traditional Dessert
Make a perfect dessert for your next summertime gathering with the pig licking cake recipe. And to make it, you need no pig at all. It will be a superb sweet and delicious dish.
Mix the whole packet of yellow cake mix, water, and oil.
Add eggs and Mandarin oranges to the mixture and mix them properly.
This time take 2 same-size baking pans. And, pour the liquid mixture into the baking pans (half of the liquid for each pan).
Bake for 25 minutes at 350° at same time.
Now mix the whole can of crushed pineapple, frozen whipped toppings, and instant vanilla pudding in another bowl.
Take the two pieces of baked cake and place one piece of cake in a round shape bowl. spread the pineapple, pudding, and frozen topping mixture evenly on top of the baked cake.
Now place another baked cake on top of the mixture and then spread the remaining mixture on top of the baked cake.
Your pig-licking cake is ready.
Transfer the cake from the bowl to a plat-shaped dish or plate.
Cut the slices into square or triangle shapes and serve.
Tips
Don’t go for more or less temperature than 350° F. Inaccurate temperature will make your cake either hard or improperly baked.
Don’t keep the cake mixture unbaked for a long time. Once the mixture is ready, put it into the oven right away .
Don’t be distracted from the baking time. However, if you see the middle of the cake isn’t baked nicely, keep baking for 5 more minutes but not more than that.
If you intend to make your cake more fluffy and airy, add 1 cup of sour cream. Also, use cake flour instead of the regular one. It will make your cake tremendously fluffy.
