Instructions
You have to start by making the pastry shell. Or used a store-bought one.
Mix 2 full eggs and 2 egg yolks in a bowl.
Put sugar, milk, vanilla, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan.
Cook them until the mix is thicker.
To temper the eggs, add a bit of milk and mix with the egg. And then, pour it all into the saucepan.
Stir until the mix is thick.
Take it off from the heat and then put some butter on it.
Stir until the butter is melted.
Cool down the cream pie mix before putting it into the pastry shell.
Refrigerate the pie and then serve with whipped cream.
