Instructions
First, combine flour, powdered sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.
Rub diced salted butter into the flour mixture
Pour in the 2 egg yolks and start mixing the ingredients again.
Now, add orange zest and chopped dried cranberries to resume mixing.
Preheat the oven to 340 degrees Fahrenheit
Gently knead the Bisconie dough and take out 1 tablespoon of dough.
Use your palms to firmly press the dough into a ball. Finally, flatten the dough.
Line a baking sheet using parchment paper and place the balls.
Now, bake the balls for at least 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, don't remove the bisconie from your oven. Keep them inside for an additional 10 minutes so that they cool down.
Remove your bisconie from the oven and serve once they are completely cooled down.
Tips
Don’t overdo kneading the dough. Otherwise, you won’t get a soft and chewy texture.
